Split PDF by page ranges — instantly.
Extract specific pages from a PDF, or break a long document into chunks. Type ranges like 1-3, 5, 10-end or pick a preset. Runs in your browser — no upload, no signup, unlimited.
How it works
- Drop the PDF onto letsgoPDF's dropzone.
- Enter page ranges. Comma-separated like
1-3, 7, 10-15, or use the "first page", "last page", "every N pages" presets. - Click Split. Each range downloads as its own PDF. Done client-side — no upload.
Why letsgoPDF for splitting
- Privacy-first. Splits happen in your browser via pdf-lib (WebAssembly). Files never touch a server.
- Flexible ranges. Mix arbitrary page selections in one go:
1-3, 5, 8, 12-end. Most tools force one range at a time. - No ads, no upsells. Free, unlimited, no signup.
- Fast. 100-page PDF splits in under a second locally — no upload step.
Common questions
- Are my pages uploaded?
- No. Split runs entirely in your browser. Open your network tab while splitting — you'll see no traffic.
- What format do page ranges take?
- Comma-separated. Examples:
1-3(first three pages),1, 5, 10(three specific pages),1-3, 7-end(mix). The wordendworks as a placeholder for the last page. - Can I split into N equal chunks?
- Yes. Pick the "Every N pages" preset and we'll generate the ranges automatically.
- Does it work on encrypted/password-protected PDFs?
- Not yet — pdf-lib needs the password to decrypt. Coming soon as an "Unlock first" prompt.
